Job Summary

This position is responsible for increasing company sales revenues and retaining existing sales revenue in an assigned territory through the sale of Terumo products to new and existing clients. Plans, initiates, and directs the contract and sales of assigned product lines to new clients and current accounts.

Job Details/Responsibilities

1. In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures. 
2. Introduce new or existing products to customers and actively secure an order through effective use of professional sales presentations. 
3. Maintain existing business thru routine calls, relationship building, and keeping the customer up to date on industry trends and technical information. 
4. Provide in-service education to customer to promote an understanding of Terumo products as how they differ from competitive products. 
5. Interact with the appropriate Terumo department(s) to resolve any customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction. 
6. Efficiently manage and respond to administrative tasks, including weekly call and expense reports, contract pricing proposals, contract expirations, sales tracking, and monthly reviews. 
7. Meet sales budget while spending within expense plan. 
8. May attend trade shows and conventions to promote Terumo products. 
9. Develop/implement individual territory business plans and strategies to achieve sales quotas/objectives. 
10. Ensure documentation/training is in compliance with hospital operating room protocol tracking system. 
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/ Background Experiences

Requires a four-year college degree and a minimum of two years of sales experience that includes experience in one or more of the following: CV operating room, cardiology, neurology, or cath. lab call points. Sales experience in medical device manufacturing company preferred. Basic computer software skills, i.e., Microsoft Office.

 

The territory for this position is Pittsburg, PA, other portions of Western, PA, Eastern, Ohio, and West Virginia.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $66,950.00 to $77,327.00. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
