Job Summary

This position is responsible for daily chemical production work, including inspection, test, and basic sub-assembly builds. The primary goal is to produce and deliver quality production material that meets production schedules.

Job Details/Responsibilities


1. In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures. 
2. Follow simple formulation procedures to build production material to meet production schedules.
3. Set up and operate basic production laboratory equipment and instruments. Provide minimal preventive maintenance on equipment, as needed.
4. Maintain the laboratory, ensuring proper storage of chemicals and proper waste disposal of chemicals.
5. Make decisions as to whether the product or process conforms to product and process specifications by using mathematical computations and Windows-based spreadsheets.
6. Adhere to and support safety standards and procedures.
7. Accurately document work order and test results, and maintain documentation.
8. Inform supervisor of production issues.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications/ Background Experiences

Requires a two-year college degree in chemistry or related discipline and a minimum of two years of either chemical synthesis experience or chemistry manufacturing experience or requires a Bachelors degree in chemistry or related discipline with no experience. Basic computer software skills, i.e. Microsoft Office.

 

Pay & Benefits:

  • Pay for this position is $26.09 per hour. 
  • 80 hours pro-rated vacation and 40 hours sick time offered

The annualized base salary range for this role is $26.09 to $28.92. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
