Job Summary
This position is responsible for developing, administering, evaluating and managing various human resources programs and activities. May assist with activities that could affect the Quality System, such as administration of quality documents.
Job Details/Responsibilities
- In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
- Administer AAP/EEO requirements/recordkeeping compliance.
- Exercise discretion, judgment, confidentiality, professionalism, and tact in dealing with all issues.
- Assist in conflict resolution for work-related issues.
- Support general HR functions, such as reporting, employment verifications, unemployment claims, and fostering positive Associate relations.
- Process payroll, maintaining employee records, including earnings, deductions, timekeeping audits, and compliance with IRS and company policies.
- Monitor and manage FMLA and other leaves of absence in accordance with company policy.
- Partner with Associates and management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations and ensure compliance.
- Recruit qualified candidates to fill open positions in a timely manner using web-based recruiting technology (including applicant tracking systems) and through a variety of resources including job fairs, open houses, social media, networking, and other methods.
- Coordinate and process HR-related forms such as new hire paperwork, drug and pre-employment background screening and status changes.
- Administer and conduct Associate new hire orientation, benefit introduction, Associate policy introduction and education, and general procedures utilized at the plant.
- Assist with learning and development initiatives, including maintaining user profiles, completion status, training materials, and curriculum in the LMS, as well as guiding Associates to align their training with company or personal objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
The position exists in an office environment within a manufacturing facility. May require the use of personal protective equipment and gowning procedures as applicable for the site. Requires sitting for long periods of time with occasional stooping, bending, reaching, grasping, etc. May require occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, of objects up to, but not limited to, 40 lbs. Frequent repetitive motion tasks performed. Requires travel up to 10%. This position is hybrid and will require 2-3 days onsite. This may change based on job responsibilities, project/business needs and/or Associate job performance. In all cases, Associates may need to have on-site presence for designated meetings and compliance-related activities.
Qualifications/ Background Experiences
Requires a four-year college degree and a minimum of three years of human resource experience, Intermediate computer software skills, i.e. Microsoft Office.
The annualized base salary range for this role is $59,850.00 to $75,167.00. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
