Job Summary
This position is responsible for software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products according to defined specifications and existing processes in a team environment to meet/exceed business and quality objectives.
Job Details/Responsibilities
1. In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
2. Utilize software engineering skills in the design, development, installation, validation, and qualification of equipment/product that may include feasibility studies and/or proper documentation.
3. Contribute to the planning, implementation, and completion of projects to develop, install, and qualify new processes for new products or improving existing products / processes.
4. Provide support for testing software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products.
5. Assist with defining software and verification requirements.
6. Gather, track, and analyze data for meetings, business plan, etc. (yields/output/efficiencies).
7. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/ Background Experiences
Requires a four-year college degree in an applicable engineering discipline, such as Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Biomedical Engineering, and a minimum of one year of structured or object-oriented programming gained through academic course work or on-the-job experience.
The annualized base salary range for this role is $59,850.00 to $75,167.00. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
