Job Summary:

This position is responsible for independently leading independent and team-related executions of product inspections, quarantine-related activities, package rework processes, and other quality and process improvement initiatives, as required.

Job details: 

  • Act as back-up to Supply Chain Quality Manager, when required for communication and coordination of day-to-day activities.
  • Train new hires and act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for supply chain quality processes.
  • Perform product inspections (receiving, returns, shipping) per procedures.
  • Perform quarantine-related activities per procedures (which can include hold requests from manufacturing operations facilities, marketing, or recall actions, expiry or sell by dating product movements, and Excess & Obsolescence inventory executions).
  • Perform package rework activities in accordance with procedures.
  • Support Distribution Operations and Inventory teams with product resolution or project activities.
  • Performs other job-related duties, as assigned.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Requires the ability to make product acceptability decisions based upon quality criteria and procedure requirements.
  • Requires critical thinking and decision-making ability on an individual and team basis

Qualifications: 

  • Requires a high school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 5 years Quality or Distribution / Warehousing experience.

Final compensation packages may be higher or lower than what is listed, and will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand. The salary range is $50,400 - $64,500 based on experience and a 2% annual target bonus.
