Job Summary
HR Generalist will provide a wide range of HR support to the organization and deliver value-added services to business groups that expand the company culture, enhance the employment experience for all associates and mitigate risk. The HR Generalist will assist Human Resources Business Partners in effectively developing, delivering & managing positive associate relations initiatives and in supporting a culture of engagement and ongoing development. The HR Generalist will be the initial point of contact for associates, and will have responsibility for the day-to-day management of HR operational functions, to include administration of policies, procedures and programs.
The HR Generalist will be involved in multiple initiatives and will have accountability for managing several processes, i.e. Leave Management, Field Car Allowance, New Hire Onboarding, Tuition Reimbursement. In addition, the HR Generalist will be involved in supporting effective performance management practices, effective associate relations, career pathing and development, recognition and reward programs, and sound employment practices.
The HR Generalist must be able to build effective relationships within the business, and with other internal service providers such as Payroll, Finance and Benefits.
Job Details/Responsibilities
Manage the Leave of Absence (LOA) process, to include full understanding of federal and state laws, company policies, and vendor procedures. Ensure our processes are consistent, up-to-date, easy to comprehend from end-user perspective, as well as recommend and implement enhancements.
Manage the Field Car Allowance program to include communication to associates and managers, process invoices, conduct semi-annual audits.
Manage the New Hire onboarding process that will promote a positive experience for new associates, this includes coordination of new hire orientation, announcements, onboarding plans.
Manage the Tuition Reimbursement program to include approvals, tracking, processing, and communication with associates and managers.
Maintain proper I-9 documentation, keep current with applicable regulations, recommend enhancements to the process.
Conduct new associate check-ins and associate exit interviews. Maintain and analyze data as well as make recommendations towards continuous improvement.
Ensure new roles and transferring associates are properly assigned in our quality training system. Work with managers to complete Job Change Order document, confirm follow-through in all systems, and compliance with our Job Description sharepoint site.
Answer associate inquiries, provide baseline support with HR applications (I.e. SuccessFactors), handle basic associate relations matters, and provide quality advice and service to associates and management.
Keep organizational charts current that reflect organizational changes and up-to-date associate data.
Support the HR department in implementing programs and initiatives that enhance the associate experience.

Qualifications/ Background Experiences

- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field and minimum of 5 to 7 years related experience in Human Resources required.
- Must be flexible and accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a track record of taking initiative and be results driven.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required, with SuccessFactors extremely helpful.

Final compensation packages may be higher or lower than what is listed, and will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand. Rate of pay: $59,400 - $81,730/year
