Job Summary
Based in Somerset, NJ, the Sr. Multimedia Design Specialist will play a key role in the expansion of Terumo Medical Corporation’s (TMC) digital marketing capabilities. As a Sr. Multimedia Design Specialist, you will need to be a web savvy graphic artist and digital video developer who has experience developing creative for digital marketing campaigns including website graphics, digital video and animation development, Adobe Experience Manager template and component designs, digital banner ads, HTML emails, PowerPoint presentations and slide development, as well as have a proficiency with marketing automation tools. This position will work within pre-established brand guidelines and leverage UX and UI expertise to take provided marketing messaging direction and copy to develop layouts and designs for digital delivery of those messages. Using existing creative and content, the Sr. Multimedia Design Specialist will adapt messaging to digital delivery channels, and manage the implementation of future marketing automation tools, email marketing, and accessibility functions to optimize content and creative for that medium.
Job Details/Responsibilities
- Oversee the strategy, creation, and execution of design solutions for digital marketing and digital communications.
- Partner closely with Communication and Brand Experience team to execute the creative vision of their integrated marketing communication plans.
- Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity.
- Design modern, elegant, and data-driven social advertising, email campaigns, sales enablement materials, multimedia content for social and landing pages, as well as more comprehensive, integrated campaigns.
- Develop videos and animated sequences for internal company, and digital video vignettes for external promotional channels.
- Design a dynamic and user-friendly website experience with strong UI/UX principals for public and internal website properties, developing designs for Adobe Experience Manager templates and components.
- Serve as creative lead working with marketing teams to design HTML emails that align with and support integrated marketing campaigns.
- Become familiar with brand website back-end processes and product content and imagery tasks, and general site update and navigation in Adobe Experience Manager (Note: this is not a primary job responsibility; however, the person in this role will be cross-trained).
- Demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance with all TMC Quality Systems requirements. This includes but is not limited to the prompt recognition and forwarding of customer complaints (i.e. adverse events, product performance reports, etc.) to Quality Assurance (QA), and by ensuring all promotional messaging (i.e. branding strategies, product claims, etc.) and materials (i.e. literature) discussed or presented to customers are clinically accurate and adhere to AdvaMed guidelines and Terumo’s policy on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
- Direct experience designing high-quality creative concepts and is comfortable working in Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, DaVinci video editing, Canva, InDesign, PowerPoint.
- Exceptional creativity and innovation, and a strong eye for visual composition.
- Ability to design and create within pre-established brand guidelines.
- Strong User Experience and User Interface acumen.
- Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, advertisements, and multimedia design.
- Understanding of marketing technology and marketing automation (preferably Pardot) systems and principles.
- HTML experience to support email campaign initiatives.
- GIF animation skills for dynamic banner ad / graphic development.
- Strong time management and ability to multi-task and turn projects around quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; should be able to deliver ideas and decisions in a professional manner.
- Ability to work independently and be self-driven within a fast-paced team environment.
- Initiative and creativity, with a “get things done” attitude, proactive mindset – someone who is resourceful, coachable, innovative, focused, and can adapt.
- Comfort in a dynamic environment, dealing calmly and effectively with situations under deadlines.
- Comfortable working in office and remotely, communicating by video conference technology.
Qualifications/ Background Experiences
- Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years’ experience in digital arts, creative design, graphic design, web design and execution or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 5 years of design software expertise: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
- HTML coding experience for email campaigns.
- Video development/editing experience, experience with video animations.
- GIF technology experience.
- UX/UI experience.
- Adobe Experience Manager experience preferred.
