Job Summary
The Senior Contracts Business Analyst (Sr. BA) will serve as the subject matter expert for providing analytics across the TMC Commercial Excellence (ComEx) team. As a SME and in partnership with the Sr. Manager, TMC Business Analytics, the Sr. BA will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the Power BI platform. Will be dedicated to supporting the business needs and decisions within commercial excellence. Will partner across the Contracts and Analytics team to assess needs, address process gaps, and help build efficiencies. With a focus on supporting data-driven decision-making, the Sr. Business Analyst will create innovative reports, views, dashboards, scorecards, and visualizations, using Power BI as well as drive requirements gathering, developing KPIs, and metrics.
Job Details/Responsibilities
- Build ComEx BI model to include visualizations, reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards .
- + identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities across Contracts and Analytics Team.
- Connect to different data sources, importing data, transforming data, building data flows and datasets for Power BI
- Build and manage relationships to work across the ComEx Team, and with Corporate Accounts to develop innovative analytical solutions to reduce manual process redundancies and assist in developing forward-looking solutions.
- Consult with Key Stakeholders to identify and understand business requirements and work with Data Warehouse/Analytics team to develop dimensional models to support Power BI
- Develop and maintain work instructions (SOPs), and guidelines related to analytical offerings
- Provide training to appropriate stakeholders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
- Thorough understanding of both Power BI desktop and the process of publishing reports to the Power BI service.
- Ability to work independently managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience supporting self-service analytics.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing analytics solutions that are repeatable and scalable.
- Ability to adapt to evolving department and stakeholder needs and update analytical offerings to account for changes.
- Ability to translate Sales and Financial data into clear insights that support strategic decision‑making.
- Ability to partner with IT/Analytics team to stay up to date with rapidly changing data architecture across the organization.
- Proficient in leveraging analytical thinking to transform complex data into insightful visuals and reports
- Sound knowledge of Data Integration techniques to develop, update, and incorporate multiple data sources into a central BI model.
- Strong Data validation skills to ensure published data is accurately reflected.
- Able to work cross-functionally with many teams and multi-task with a sense of urgency.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and committed to meeting deadlines
- Strong desire to stay ahead of the trends and ability to research and apply emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and able to work with business owners to develop and define key business requirements and to build data sets that answer those questions.
Qualifications/ Background Experiences
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance/Accounting or related fields and 5 years of experience in Business, Data Analytics or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience
- 5 years experience in custom dashboarding design, implementation, and maintenance
- Experience with Power BI Dimensional Modeling, DAX and creating Visualizations.
- Prior experience with Large and Complex data sources preferred.
- Strong Data Validation Skills to ensure accuracy of reporting.
- Prior experience partnering across multiple levels of an organization and cross functional teams to develop and implement analytical tools.
- Prior experience in the medical device industry and/or pharmaceutical industry preferred

Final compensation packages may be higher or lower than what is listed, and will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
