Job Summary

This position will provide a wide range of HR support and deliver value-added services to business groups across all levels, that expand the company culture, enhance employment experience for all associates and mitigate risk. Sr. HR Generalist will effectively deliver, manage & support positive associate relations initiatives that support a culture of engagement and ongoing development. Will be hands-on and execute or support the execution of a full range of HR responsibilities to include Workforce Planning and Optimization, Talent Acquisition, Associate Relations, Performance and Talent Management, Compensation, Training and Leadership Development.

Must be able to build effective working relationships at all levels within the organization as well as with cross-functional support groups.

Job Details/Responsibilities

  • Live into One HR culture by working in a cross-functional collaborative fashion to identify solutions, programs and initiatives to enhance the associate experience and meet organizational needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to all associates, including all levels of management, and provide advice and guidance on HR/people activities, such as career development, performance management, job families, compensation, HR systems, organization development and employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the development, delivery and realization of HR initiatives, trainings, practices, programs, projects, etc.
  • Provide guidance on matters related to organizational change, associate relations, engagement and communications.
  • Conduct new associate check-ins, stay interviews and associate exit interviews. Maintain and analyze data as well as make recommendations towards continuous improvement.
  • As a member of the HR team, raise issues/matters and work in a cross-functional collaborative fashion to identify solutions which meet the needs of the entire organization, and then help champion those initiatives within assigned client groups.
  • Provide support on the performance review and compensation processes and offer enhancements within HR on the process. Conduct or participate in talent management processes. 
  • Work to surface, investigate and address associate relations and morale issues. Assist in the development of action plans to facilitate an open and positive work culture. Offer possible resolution and provide work-related advice, guidance and direction to resolve associate issues. Work to bring policy and performance issues to resolution. As needed, recommend, administer and update policies and practices that affect associates.
  • Assist in the life cycle of an associate from job creation to onboarding to development to advising on terminations and exit interviews.
  • Ensure compliance to and consistent application of HR policies and practices. Adhere to Quality System Requirements; including but not limited to compliance with HR procedures and training requirements for new and continuing Associates.
  • Incumbent must follow all established Environmental Health & Safety and Quality System policies, programs, rules and practices, including but not limited to product and patient safety, the health and safety of all associates as well as the environment and community at large.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/ Background Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field and minimum of 5 years’ related experience in Human Resources with a demonstrated proficiency in required HR skills and abilities; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Medical device experience preferred.
  • Must be flexible and accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a track record of taking initiative and be results driven.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required, with SuccessFactors extremely helpful.

Final compensation packages may be higher or lower than what is listed, and will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand. We provide competitive and comprehensive benefit options which include: annual bonus, paid vacation, paid holidays, health, dental and vision benefits, 401(k), with matching contributions, tax advantage savings accounts, legal plan, voluntary life and AD&D insurance, voluntary long-term disability, short term disability, critical illness and accident insurance, parental leave, personal leave, tuition reimbursement, travel assistance, and an employee assistance program. Salary range: 83,000 - 114,000.
