Job Summary

The Healthcare Compliance Assistant will support the Healthcare Compliance Department of Terumo Americas Holdings and its managed businesses to support the team developing and implementing an effective compliance program in accordance with best practices, DOJ most recent guidance, U.S. and O.U.S. ethical industry codes and applicable laws and regulations.  Projects will encompass a broad range of areas related to compliance, including the training, communications, auditing and monitoring of healthcare professional interactions, and due diligence screening of prospective Third Parties.

Job Details/Responsibilities

  • Review the following elements of the current compliance program for process improvements:
    • Training of employees on Compliance policies to drive effective learning in the organization.
    • Communication to employees on key Compliance initiatives.
    • Auditing and Monitoring of Healthcare Professional interactions.
    • Due Diligence screening of prospective Third Party vendors to Terumo.
    • Administration of the Educational Grants and Donations Committee processes.
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/ Background Experiences

  • High School Degree Required.  Current university student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree, majoring in Business or related field or equivalent combination of education, experience and relevant work experience.
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above preferred
