Job Summary
The Director, Financial Systems will lead TAH Oracle EPM team. This role will be responsible for all financial systems for the TAH’s Accounting and FP&A functions in closing the financial books and financial forecasts such as P&L and cashflow planning. S/He will bring thought leadership and business partnering to senior executives surrounding the financial systems to support the Accounting and Finance organization and across TAH. S/He will leverage AI/ML to streamline closing, planning, and forecasting by leveraging TAH Finance Systems (e.g. FCCS, FinPlan, Workforce, etc). S/He will also supporting a wide range of management reporting, strategic analyses, and decision-making for the group through financial system automation.
Acting as the Solution Architect, this position will be responsible for designing scalable, best-in-class finance solutions and drive the modernization initiative globally and locally. This role will work closely with the TC IT leadership, Global Data and Analytics (D&A) leader, and all regional IT leadership for the global D&A program. In addition, this role will work with S4 HANA, TAH Accounting, Finance and Manufacturing teams in all TAH Businesses to develop data-informed reports, supporting successful business growth, operational efficiency, and sales acceleration.
Job Details/Responsibilities
Enterprise Performance Management for TAH
- Own TAH financial consolidation and planning applications. These applications will enable TAH Finance and Accounting teams to accurately close financial books and plan/forecast P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow and Equity
- Lead monthly, quarterly and yearly Close process and Global reporting to TC
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and lead various other reporting projects including decision support, metrics and analytics. Ensuring a high degree of quality, timeliness and accuracy.
- Develop a best-in-class annual and long-term business planning process and ensure alignment between business partners and FP&A. Includes developing policies, process, timelines, cadence, tools, and communication.
- Continually improve processes, drive change, and elevate the level of reporting for the overall corporation and business units.
- Lead master data management process to make sure all the applications are updated timely manner provide the business close to real-time view of hierarchy updates in reporting.
- Manage security and access management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Sales, Finance, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to develop financial transformation insights.
- Coach others, recognize their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development.
- Engage in supporting business users’ development by provide demos, training, and develop self-service and ad-hoc reporting capabilities
Project Altius - Global Data and Analytics Initiative
- Review Terumo’s Global data and analytics systems, processes, capabilities, and challenges on a global scale to prepare a global D&A solution framework with a future-state architecture and a roadmap for implementing the recommendations.
- Support the design and delivery of future state MDM (Master Data Management) to support TMAT modernization.
- Collaborate closely with Global and Regional stake holders and teams to implement best practices around data extraction, collection, transformation, and processing.
- Drive development of tools, reporting improvement and automation worldwide, and create new innovative and insightful reports in a timely manner.
- Support the harmonization of data from different regions to product Global Reports and KPIs
- Serve as the key liaison with business stakeholders for data and analytics initiatives- develop and present business cases, provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership.
- Engage with the CDOs / CXOs, executive leaders and business owners to influence Data / Analytics Strategy

Ongoing Support & Maintenance:
- Adheres to the policies, standards & baselines to ensure consistency.
- Establish processes, methods, and tools for Enterprise Data and Analytics systems.
- Apply processes and tools to support the SLA(s) established by the EPM team to the various business units. Monitor and report on the SLA adherence.
- Respond to User Help Desk tickets for disposal of service requests from business users.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
- Proven ability to develop and execute technical strategies aligned with business goals and objectives, as well as identifying opportunities for data-driven innovation.

- Strong knowledge of Oracle EPM Cloud architecture, functionalities, and best practices.
- Proficiency in configuring and maintaining Oracle EPM modules, such as PBCS, FCCS, EDMCS and ARCS.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and related services.
- Solid understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Knowledge of data integration methods, including data mapping, transformation, and data load processes.
- Knowledge in ERP tools like S4 HANA, JDE, Oracle Fusion is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications/ Background Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required; Master’s in Computer Science preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in leading EPM implementations.
- 10+ years of experience in process reengineering, designing and implementing business performance management applications including budgeting, forecasting, planning, consolidation, and reporting.
- 10+ years of experience in Data Integrations, relational databases like SQL and Master Data management.
- Experience managing teams of in-house and consulting resources, including offshore.
- Extensive experience as an Oracle EPM Administrator, with a focus on Oracle Cloud EPM applications.
- Prior experience in the medical device industry and/or pharmaceutical industry preferred
