Job Summary
Under the leadership and tactical guidance of a VP & CIO, the Director â SAP Commercials and Field Inventory TAH (DIR SAP OTC) will collaborate with business stakeholders, consultants to help design, develop, deploy and support solutions in SAP S/4HANA and any associated bolt-ons to meet business unit needs for Order to Cash, Trade Compliance and Consignment/Field Inventory business processes. The incumbent will also play a critical role in supporting the developing the architecture and implementation of SAP S4HANA within the operating subsidiaries and the holding company for Terumo in North and South America.
Job Details/Responsibilities
Build SAP Order to Cash work stream Team:
Work with VP & CIO in defining the team structure to support the design, development, deployment and support of the Target State Order to Cash, Trade Compliance and Consignment/ Field Inventory Processes enabled by SAP S/4HANA.
Architecture of SAP Solution:
In collaboration with SAP COE Leaders and project consultants, Develop and maintain roadmap for the Order to Cash solutions, ensuring it reflects the current and future business needs, aligned with industry, SAP best practices and solution roadmap
Responsible for developing standard business process design, configure, test, deploy and support SAP S/4HANA solution along with any bolt-on for all Order to Cash, Trade Compliance and Consignment/Field Inventory Processes
Proactively and effectively communicate and collaborate with the SAP COE Leaders, PMO, Project Team and Business Stakeholders to address the need for SAP S/4HANA bolt-on and other integrated applications (e.g., Hyperion, Tungsten, Esker, IBP, HRIS, GTS, MDG, Vertex, EWM etc.) which have relevance across Terumo operations.
Enhance business processes through the development of regionally relevant solutions to meet business needs.
Manage key integration points between and across processes to ensure they are properly accounted for and work with the Record to Report Team for Integration design from Financial Validation perspective.
Work with other Process Track leaders to manage design efforts for cross-functional processes (SAP Hierarchy etc)
Work with other Process Track Leaders, SAP COE Leaders, Technology Architect, PMO and Consulting Partner in defining the scope and management of the integration testing cycles
Work with other Process Track Leaders, SAP COE Leaders, Technology Architect, PMO and Consulting Partner in the development of the cutover strategy and plan
Utilize and build on basic knowledge in areas such as IDOCs, batch job processing to troubleshoot and suggest improvements
Perform Fit/Gap assessment and finalize functional specifications
Work with Consultants/Developers to clarify any requirements as needed
Perform unit testing and ensure satisfaction of the documented requirements
Act as main design and support authority for the Order to Cash, Trade Compliance and Field Inventory team in collaboration with Business stakeholders.
Timely Development and communication of weekly/monthly/quarterly status reports to SAP COE Leader and Project Leader.

Implementation of SAP in Terumo Americas:
Work with VP & CIO, SAP COE Leaders, PMO, (external) Consulting Team and (internal) Core Business Team for the successful design, configuration, unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing of the SAP S/4HANA implementation.
Work with the SAP COE Leaders, Project Team and Business stakeholders to proactively and effectively communicate and collaborates with the User Community to address SAP needs and requirements across all operations in the Americas.
Work with other Process Track Leaders, SAP COE Leaders, Technology Architect, PMO and Consulting Partner in defining the scope and management of the integration testing cycles
Work with other Process Track Leaders, SAP COE Leaders, Technology Architect, PMO and Consulting Partner in the development of the cutover strategy and plan
Support the building of and effectively manage Integration Points between SAP S/4HANA and other TC systems.
Help Perform risk assessments of enterprise apps and work closely with project teams on building/configuring applications security.
Create clearly defined Instructions and Structured Documentation to track and control project scope.
Develop User Documentation in cooperation with the Consultants and Core Business Team.
Ongoing Support & Maintenance:
Take ownership for the Global Process Design Template, Configuration, Test Scripts and other associated work products related to SAP Order to Cash, Trade Compliance and Consignment/Field Inventory processes to ensure effective control over changes required for localization or legal requirements.
Adheres to the policies, standards & baselines to ensure consistency of
Support SAP COE in testing and validation efforts related to Maintenance Patches, Version Upgrades and integration on New Bolt-on Applications from time to time as required.
Respond to User Help Desk tickets for disposal of service requests from business users.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
Provide functional advisory support to ad hoc SAP/Non-SAP led initiatives in other subsidiaries to support managerial decision making
Drive the Financial Integration of all E2E processes enabled by SAP S/4HANA to ensure proper design, development and testing.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
Strong knowledge of SAP Suite of Products and their latest versions
Deep understanding of B2B and Customer Interactions processes
Strong knowledge of Intercompany/Intracompany setups, IDOCs, and Workflow is highly desired
Familiarity with enabling principal structure for tax optimized financial flow is highly desirable
Familiarity with general Demand to Supply, Source to Pay and Order to Cash functionality with an emphasis on how they integrate/interface into Order to Cash
Knowledge of project methodologies like Scrum, Agile, Waterfall
Understanding of ABAP and debugging ABAP code
Familiarity in latest LAN/WAN Network topologies and architecture
Exposure to Cloud Computing applications as applicable to SAP software
Some familiarity with SOX and IRM compliance
Some familiarity with FDA CFR Part 11 Software Validation processes
Keen analytical skills

Qualifications/ Background Experiences
Bachelors degree in any process area, (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) with professional certification preferably in SAP (e.g., SAP SD/OTC)
10 to 15 years of experience with progressive increase in responsibilities in Global Process Design, Deployment and/or support experience utilizing and configuring the SAP Sales and Distribution modules with a heavy focus in Order Management, Returns, Customer Interactions, Pricing, Contracts, ATP, Consignment, Trade Compliance, Field Inventory, Warehouse Management, Logistics Execution and Billing/Cash Application Processes
Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role(s) directing, leading, or managing one or many work streams
Hands on experience in designing and configuring S4HANA Sales, Commercial Processing, EDI, CRM, Order Management (Domestic and International), ATP, Tax, Trade Compliance rules, Pricing Conditions, Delivery, Logistics Execution, Consignment, Field Inventory and Billing/Cash functions
Multiple years of experience in Medical Device / Life Sciences Industry is preferable in addition to Medical Device/Serialized product experience
Experience with the implementation and maintenance of major large, complex multi country end to end SAP transformation programs
Experience working in S/4 HANA, SAP ECC 6.0, SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), Global Trade Compliance, Consignment, Field Inventory, Mobile-frame and Hybris is required
