Job Summary

The Digital Experience Intern will participate and support Terumo’s process for managing and maintaining websites to meet the needs of the business and its brand strategy.  This role will also have responsibility for assisting the team in areas of website analytics, search engine optimization and accessibility. The Digital Experience Intern will provide administrative and tactical support to assigned team and will participate in special projects.  Digital Experience Intern will prepare a final presentation on assigned topic and will present to the leadership team at end of internship.

Job Details/Responsibilities

  • Website Analytics – learn Google Analytics platform to create and read website usage reports and make page recommendations based on the data.
  • Search Engine Optimization – learn key principals in search strategy, leverage tools to research the keywords driving traffic to pages, and how to enhance those words on a page to ultimately drive traffic to the site
  • Accessibility – learn the guidelines for WAG 2.1 AA dictating website regulations for compliance and assist the team identifying the changes to be done to our sites to make them compliant. 
     

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Understanding of websites, how they work

Qualifications/ Background Experiences

  • Current undergraduate student majoring in Marketing, or Digital Applications, or Media Technologies with an interest in website development.
