Job Summary
The Business Analytics Intern will participate and support the intersection of data analysis and healthcare, contributing to the enhancement of data-driven decision-making processes. The Business Analytics Intern will provide administrative and tactical support to assigned team and will participate in special projects. Business Analytics Intern will prepare a final presentation on assigned topic and will present to the leadership team at end of internship.
Job Details/Responsibilities
- Support data collection, cleaning, and analysis.
- Gain exposure to various business analytics tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Power BI).
- Participate in cataloging and documentation: Cataloging Data Assets, KPIs, Reports, Dashboards and Data Jobs/Pipelines.
- Participate in story telling using Data Visualization and Reporting.
- Build an internal Knowledge base and a Center of Excellence site for Business Analytics.
- Foster innovation and automation in the group by helping build applications for auditing and monitoring our daily processes and tasks.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in basic data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to learn.
- Interest in the healthcare and medical device industry.
Qualifications/ Background Experiences
- Pursuing Undergraduate or Graduate degree majoring in Computer Science, Information Management, Analytics, AI/ML, or related fields.
