Job Summary
Provided leadership to the production teams to deliver the business results and expectations on a day-to-day basis. This position requires having required skills set to handle employee performance and operational issues related to the personnel under his/her charge, quality systems, and manufacturing processes. The position is responsible for ensuring that standard production processes are maintained, and that production volumes and quality goals are met.
Job Details/Responsibilities
Supervision and Leadership
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of hourly associates, including assigning tasks, setting clear goals, and monitoring performance.
- Facilitate training sessions to ensure team members are equipped with necessary skills and knowledge. Develop individual team members through coaching and mentoring.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement performance improvement plans as needed. Recognize and reward outstanding performance.
- Ensure smooth operations by coordinating workflows, resolving issues, and addressing concerns promptly. Maintain high standards of quality, productivity, and efficiency.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication. o Encourage collaboration and teamwork to achieve organizational goals.
- Production Management
- Oversees daily production operations to ensure adherence to schedules.
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure that all production activities are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Quality Assurance
- Ensure products meet all quality standards and specifications.
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures.
- Collaborate with quality assurance and regulatory teams to maintain compliance with ISO standards, FDA regulations and any other regulatory agency.
- Safety and Compliance
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any identified hazards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Participate in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Inventory and Resource Management
- Manage inventory levels to ensure availability of materials for production.
- Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to address material shortages or delays.
- Optimize the use of production resources to minimize waste and reduce costs.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
- Prepare and present production metrics and performance reports to management.
- Ensure that all production documentation is complete and accurate.
- Ensure compliance with all TPR procedures and all applicable regulatory agency requirements.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by fostering open communication with team members, other departments, and management, promote teamwork, and commitment to excellence.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
- Capacity to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draws valid conclusions.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills and capable of communicate both in Spanish & English.
- Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office applications and MFG software.
- Knowledge of ISO and quality systems is a plus. o Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and practices is a plus.
- Must have good people skills with the ability to energize and motivate staff
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and influence positive outcomes.

Qualifications/ Background Experiences
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering or Business Administration (Industrial Management preferred).
- Minimum of (3-5) years of prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing industry with proven track record that demonstrates leadership. Medical device, pharmaceutical, or electronic industries are preferred
