Job Summary

The Business Systems Analyst I supports, maintains, and improves core business applications that enable manufacturing operations. Under the guidance of a Sr. Business Systems Analyst, this role focuses on learning and applying foundational knowledge of systems such as SAP, MES, Power BI and any other systems required to manufacture a product within the site. The position assists in daily system support, data analysis, process improvements, and project activities.  It provides a learning platform for a motivated individual seeking to grow technical and analytical skills within a regulated medical device manufacturing environment.

Job Details/Responsibilities

  • Support business applications by responding to user inquiries and performing initial troubleshooting in MES, SAP, and Power BI systems. Escalate complex issues to senior analysts as required.
  • Assist in process improvement by gathering business requirements, documenting workflows, and identifying inefficiencies within manufacturing, quality, and supply chain systems.
  • Contribute to reporting and data analytics by creating and maintaining dashboards and basic Power BI reports to support operational and business decisions.
  • Participate in system implementation and upgrade projects by documenting configurations, maintaining records, and assisting with testing activities.
  • Support compliance and training by following company procedures, preparing user guides, and helping with end-user training.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote effective communication, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Other related duties may be assigned.

Qualifications/ Background Experiences

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Experience: 0–2 years of experience in business systems, IT support, or manufacturing systems (internships or co-ops accepted).
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP, MES, or Power BI preferred; and/ or previous exposition to programming software’s with a medium level of knowledge required.
  • Industry Experience: Experience or interest in regulated industries (medical device, pharmaceutical, or aerospace) preferred.
  • Certifications: Basic understanding of data analytics tools or Lean/Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
