Job Summary
This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production equipment, automatic and manual, in order to maintain a quality product.
Job Details/Responsibilities
1. In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
2. Perform part inspections within specified frequency and process parameters.
3. Set up and changeover production line to product type schedules.
4. Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment as assigned.
5. Maintain accurate production schedules.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
7. Assist with job changeovers as needed
8. Maintain adequate raw material supply as required.
9. Perform troubleshooting on production process.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
The position exists in a production environment with exposure to automated equipment. May require gowning procedures for controlled environment. May require the use of eye protection, hand protection, and, depending on noise level, may require hearing protection. May require appropriate footwear in accordance with site policy. Visual acuity in compliance with site specific Visual Acuity Program. Majority of workday is spent either standing or walking. On occasion, may stoop, bend, reach, pull, etc. Typically include frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs. and occasional lifting, with assistance, up to 80 lbs.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
Qualifications/ Background Experiences
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Basic computer software skills, i.e. Microsoft Office.
