Job Summary
This position is responsible for loading and unloading of freight and may also be responsible for processing the plants recycled material through the compactor. This position is responsible for the receiving function, picking, packing, and shipping customer orders and inventory integrity.
Job Details/Responsibilities
1. In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
2. Load and unload freight.
3. Receive product, verify accuracy, and warehouse to assigned location.
4. Accurately select products in accordance with customer order specifications.
5. Pack and ship orders in a cost-effective manner.
6. Participate in all physical inventories, adhering to and following written procedures to ensure inventory integrity.
7. Assist production with supplying or removing cartons, pallets, chemical drums, removing hazardous waste, removing trash, etc. Assist others in facility, as needed.
8. Operate fork truck, forklift hand truck, shrink wrapper, etc. as needed.
9. Compact recycling materials as needed.
10. Maintain warehouse in clean and organized manner.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
The position exists in a warehouse environment within a manufacturing facility. Typically works in an uncontrolled environment involving adverse weather conditions, non-sterile working area, etc. May require gowning procedures for controlled environment. May involve handling of hazardous waste. May require the use of eye protection, hand protection, and, depending on noise level, may require hearing protection. Requires ability to operate fork truck, forklift hand truck, shrink wrapper, etc. Requires continuous standing and walking with frequent stooping, bending, reaching, grasping, etc. Typically requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, of objects up to, but not limited to, 50 lbs. with occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs. Frequent repetitive motion tasks performed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
Qualifications/ Background Experiences
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer software skills, i.e., Microsoft Office. Experience operating fork truck preferred.
