Job Summary

This temporary position is responsible for controlling all material movement and inventory. 

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Pay Rate: $18.81/hour
Duration: Approximately 6 months 

Candidates must pass the background check and drug screening.

Job Details/Responsibilities

1. In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
2. Perform inventory control of all materials to include accurate documentation, which may include retrieving/sending of materials by way of computer system as applicable by site. 
3. Open manufacturing work orders by way of computer system, as applicable by site. 
4. Properly package, label, palletize, stamp, etc. of product in accordance with site-specific quality systems procedures/work instructions. 
5. Maintain and operate packaging and/or material handling equipment, which may include hand packing. 
6. Maintain clean work area. 
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

The position exists in a manual production environment with minimal exposure to automated equipment. May at times involve exposure to chemicals that have fume removal by exhaust system requiring the use of personal protective equipment. May require the use of eye protection and, depending on noise level, may require hearing protection.

Majority of workday is spent either standing or walking with frequent bending, reaching, pulling, stooping, etc. Typically include frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. Frequent repetitive motion tasks. Visual acuity in compliance with site specific Visual Acuity Program. Requires constant sitting or standing for long periods of time with occasional stooping, bending, reaching, etc. Typically requires frequent lifting of 5 lbs. to 40 lbs. and occasional lifting to 50 lbs. Constant repetitive motion tasks, such as pushing, pulling, and gripping.

Qualifications/ Background Experiences

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer software skills, i.e. Microsoft Office.

The hourly wage for this position is $18.81. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
