Job Summary

This position is responsible for managing forecasts, production planning, inventory, raw material purchasing, and supplier agreements.

Job Details/Responsibilities

1.  In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures. 
2.  Prepare and present monthly product results for in-plant meetings and Terumo Corporation. 
3.  Participate in change control approval process as needed. 
4.  Prepare monthly production schedules, release work orders, and backorder reports. 
5.  Analyze and compile production results for management review. 
6.  Recommend ideas for cost reduction and implementation. 

7.  Communicate with Terumo CV SQE and suppliers to maintain and develop appropriate levels of quality and quality measurements. 
8.  Participate in agreements between Terumo CV and suppliers for applicable raw materials with the support of the Materials Manager. 
9.  Manage balance between the forecast and production levels to maintain adequate inventory for a specific business unit(s). 
10. Work with manufacturing Supervisors and Managers to maximize production while balancing the inventory. 
11. Participate in obsolescence projects with engineering departments and business unit(s). 
12. Utilizes the systems and processes in place to attract, develop, engage, train, and retain talented Associates; creating a work environment where Associates can realize their full potential, thus allowing the organization to meet business needs. 
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/ Background Experiences

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of seven years of Supply Chain or Operations Management experience or a four-year college degree in Business, Operations Management or related field and a minimum of four years of related experience. Intermediate computer software skills, i.e. Microsoft Office. Supervisory experience is preferred. APICS Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certification in Integrated Resource Management (CIRM) is preferred.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $87,550.00 to $107,589.00. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
