Job Summary

This position is responsible for developing attainable production schedules and may also be responsible for purchasing raw material to support the production schedule.

Job Details/Responsibilities

1.  In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
2.  Obtain raw materials to support the production schedule, proactively manage the transition of materials from the supplier, and identify/resolve delivery problems. 
3.  Create the forecast for product line supported using forecasting module of ERP system and enter in ERP system to enable the execution of MPS/MRP. 
4.  Meet with Production/Engineering/Product Development to review current and future projects, to communicate schedules and expectations, and to provide assistance for any projects they have underway. Work on capacity utilization projects to determine what gaps may exist in the future. 
5.  Create, review and revise production schedules to constantly balance supply and demand issues. Constantly consider capacity, manpower, projects, and maintenance needs. 
6.  Work with each supplier to assure adequate supplies of materials are on hand to support the requirements of the production schedule. Consider supplier lead-time, transit time, flexibility of both Terumo CVS and supplier schedule. 
7.  Prepare month-end reports.

8.  Maintain product structure. 
9.  Establish approved suppliers for raw materials including researching of suppliers, negotiating pricing, resolving any discrepancies, reporting quality issues as required by site, etc. 
10. Participate in supplier audits as required. 
11. Recommend ideas for cost reduction and implementation; this includes both bidding for commodity groups and spot buys. 
12. Consistently review opportunities to consolidate purchases with fewer suppliers. 
13. Conduct financial analysis as necessary to ensure Terumo CV obtains the lowest total cost for materials; this includes the involvement of other functions as appropriate. 
14. Negotiate contracts with suppliers, assist with identification of alternative suppliers, reduce supplier base by development agreements, etc. 
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/ Background Experiences

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years of Supply Chain or Operations Management experience or a four-year college degree in Business, Operations Management or related field and a minimum of one year of related work experience. Intermediate computer software skills, i.e. Microsoft Office.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $59,850.00 to $69,127.00. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
